It is almost scary what a fisherman’s mind conjures up while in fishing withdrawals. It is only something that can be appreciated and understood by another fisherman.
I took a similar fly into work awhile back and dropped it on a co-workers desk… She thought it was real and screamed… I guess she feels the same way that you do!
Umm… Technically they are lures, yes. But most fisherman separate them out into their own category simply called “flies”. Then tend to be much smaller and lighter then the standard fishing lures… And most fly fisherman have a superiority complex, so they want the distinction!
That’s the hope! I have a pretty good bluegill lake right around the corner, with fast action. I also have another with in 20 miles where the action is not as fast, but there is a chance for a master angler gill… You need 10 inches for an MA gill in Nebraska, and I have come within a 1/4 inch about 4 times!

There is… Spring Ice Out!
I needed something a little more light hearted after the last couple points!
well you accomplished that!

Love these. I assume they are lures? When I was a kid I would have played with these for hours on end!

I do have trouble keeping Little E out of them!
